They naturally chose the panama, that inescapable fashion accessory.

The panama, what is it?

The panama is in fact a traditional accessory made with toquilla straw, a plant which is widespread in Ecuador. In order to get protected from the sun, local people had the idea to use its fibers to create headdresses.
Efficient protection and elegant appearance ended in making of it an essential element of the outfit to brave the sun.
